How I met Tim Bray
I saw a fellow in a sharp hat at Northern Voice in Vancouver. We chatted for a good bit.

I met Matt at the OSCMS Summit in Vancouver… I was so totally impressed that I went out and signed up for a wordpress blog instantly.
While WP is no drupal it’s clear that a huge part of successful open source projects is the people behind them.
Because people on this side of the Pacific Ocean seldom get to meet people on the other side except when they come over.
Or I could go over, but I’m really a poor guy.
So take a break from WordPress and drop by Shanghai anytime!
I believe I was hawking the eggrolls I brought to Andy’s going away party and then proceeded to introduce myself by saying, “Hi, I’m Elea” or something like that. I was happy to meet him because I am a big Wordpress fan, hah.
I met Matt while attending a vblogging event during Macworld. Got to catch up on Wordpress and Houston (where I’ve spent some time traveling). Go Matt Go!
I want to meet the man behind the famous blogging app and exchange ideas about what’s next for blogging.
I had a dream last night that Matt and I were hanging out. He drove us in a really big car to a junkyard in the outskirts of Houston where there was a lot of nasty-looking industrial waste containers. (He was a really crazy driver, by the way.) I started taking pictures of the waste containers, making sure to include the labels and warning stickers in the frame. Some dangerous looking dudes showed up and started chasing us and all I could think of was that I should take a picture of Matt to post on Flickr. And then I woke up.
